FCC launches Private Entity Robocall and Spoofing Portal

The FCC launched a new portal in which private entities can report suspected robocall and spoofing violations to the FCC Enforcement Bureau. Here’s an overview.

For this portal, a private entity is any entity other than an individual or public entity. Examples include:

  • A corporation or association receiving a deluge of robocalls
  • A voice service provider that found evidence of illegal robocalls traversing their network
  • Private entity that had their number(s) spoofed.

The new portal is available here: Private Entity Robocall and Spoofing Portal.

The Private Entity Robocall and Spoofing Portal is not intended for individual consumers who receive unwanted robocalls or spoofed calls. Consumers should file such complaints using the Consumer Center Phone Complaint form instead.
