How OSPrey-NP Works
OSPrey-NP works by allowing you to host the NPAC database locally, within your own network. (Note: You must first have purchased a subscription to the NPAC database from a third party vendor.) Your VOIP switch will then simply query the OSPrey-NP for the most up to date number portability routing information. In addition, the OSPrey-NP will automatically update the NPAC database once every thirty minutes, ensuring your network stays current.
