SIP Peering Solution

The TransNexus OSS/BSS solution integrates seamlessly with open source SIP proxies such as OpenSIPS, SIP Express Router, Kamailio and OpenSER.  The addition of the TransNexus OSS/BSS software platform transforms these robust, open source SIP proxies into feature rich VoIP switch platforms which may be conveniently and securely peered with other SIP networks.

Softswitch Features

The TransNexus OSS/BSS platform is a powerful component for SIP proxies.  Multiple OSPrey route servers can load share routing for multiple SIP Proxies to create a highly reliable system with no single point of failure.  The diagram below illustrates a typical network architecture where NexOSS Route Provisioning is used to manage multiple zones and interconnection with external networks.  The NexOSS  web interface simplifies the creation and maintenance of complex routing and number translation plans.  Traffic analysis reports and alarms provide powerful tools for VoIP network trouble shooting and monitoring.

Peering Features

As a certificate authority, the NexSRS Peering Server provides the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) needed to secure inter-network peering. Digitally signed peering tokens ensure secure access control among anonymous peers without the burden of maintaining IP access lists in each SIP proxy.  Automated Least Cost Routing (LCR) and Quality of Server (QoS) routing ensure optimized profitability for peering traffic.  Real time CDR collection from both source and destination peers eliminates settlement billing disputes and automated credit controls eliminate bad debt risks.

The TransNexus solution also supports H.323 - providing a single network operations center for both SIP and H.323 networks.
