TransNexus Launches Asian Initiative at PTC Atlanta, Georgia USA –– On January 15, 2003, TransNexus, Inc. (TransNexus) the leading provider of secure, open interconnect solutions announced a concentrated effort to expand its business into Asia at the Pacific Telecommunication’s Council Meeting in Honolulu Hawaii January 18 through January 23, 2003. TransNexus will be exhibiting with Asian partner, MediaRing, Inc. (MediaRing) headquartered in Singapore. TransNexus, MediaRing and NEC provided an Open Settlement Protocol (OSP) clearinghouse platform to NTT Worldwide Telecommunications Corporation (NTT-WT) a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) in October, 2002. The solution consisted of the TransNexus OSP NexusTM Server and NexOSSTM Manager, coupled with the Mediaring VoizBridgeTM signaling proxy, for its multi-protocol/multi-vendor compatible VoIP clearinghouse services. NEC Corporation will be the system integrator, as well as, equipment provider to NTT-WT. TransNexus solutions and OSP are now deployed with major Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers worldwide and are responsible for in excess of 2 billion VoIP minutes in 2002. In addition, customers of TransNexus attending the event of PTC will include Primus Telecommunications, Inc., a major international facilities- based carrier, WorldCom and NTT-WT. TransNexus with its partners are able to immediately establish a revenue generating solution for current facility or proprietary equipment based solutions that will increase revenue while decreasing costs associated with international expansion. In addition, the solutions will be “FUTURE PROOF” by enabling different protocols and vendor equipment to exchange traffic. TransNexus has announced an Asian incentive program valid through March 31, 2003 to bring additional benefit to the Asian telephony community. About TransNexus, Inc.
