Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Highly specialized software development company focused on applications for next generation telecom networks is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist.
Job Description and Responsibilities: 1) Execute established test plans. a. Accurately record and clearly document all actual results compared to expected results. b. Maintain well organized record of test results and generate historical analysis of test results. c. Fully document any unexpected anomalies identified in testing with instruction of how to recreate the anomaly. 2) Operate, maintain and expand test network of VoIP devices. 3) Document and maintain database of known software defects. 4) Develop and document product requirements as part of Product Development Team. 5) Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications. 6) Document application instructions for end users. 7) Provide 2nd level customer support. 8) Build new software releases and maintain source code in version control system.
Skills required: 1) Familiar with Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems. 2) Well organized work habits with attention to detail. 3) Excellent written communication skills. 4) Desire to work with customers. 5) Two to five years work experience in software quality assurance.
