Jim Dalton

Jim Dalton is the founder and CEO of TransNexus, Inc.  He began his career as a petroleum engineer working in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Yemen from 1981-86.  After graduate studies in finance he became a Chartered Financial Analyst. Dalton began his telecom career with BellSouth in 1988.  His work at BellSouth included financial analysis for BellSouth Corporation and market planning for BellSouth's GSM wireless and mobile data businesses.  This experience led to his early recognition in the promise of Voice over IP and the founding of TransNexus in 1997.  Dalton holds five U.S. patents for VoIP clearing and settlement technology.  He received a mechanical engineering degree from Duke University and a MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton school.
